Where BMW never developed a carbon plenum for the S65 as they did for the S54 CSL, Karbonius engineered a full carbon fiber intake system — plenum, elbow, airbox cover, and air filter — to improve engine efficiency, unlock a dramatic induction sound, and transform the engine bay aesthetic.

Designed by Karbonius' in-house engineering team using modern 2D and 3D flow analysis, every component has been redesigned to optimize airflow into the engine while minimizing turbulence inside the airbox — delivering measurable power gains alongside the visual and auditory upgrades. The Roundel Style version is performance-identical to the ///M V8 version; the distinction is purely aesthetic — a BMW Roundel badge in place of the ///M V8 plaque.
